The Trek 4300 is contructed from a lightweight aluminum frame that is very strong. It is well suited for different kinds of terrain. The components on this bike could be a little better, but it is still a great bike for the money. This bike is best suited for light to intermediate off road use. While this bike is not is not designed for "hardcore" mountain bike trails, many Trek 4300 owners will tell you that this bike can take a beating!
